tripon entertainment was founded in October 2020 by Daniel Kamps. The former Sony Music manager looks back on nearly 20 years in the major music industry. For over 10 years he was responsible for the local marketing and album release campaigns for artists like e.g. AC/DC, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Faithless, Fatboy Slim, Foo Fighters, Jamiroquai, Justin Timberlake, Kings Of Leon, Oasis, Pearl Jam and P!nk.

In 2012 he was promoted to Director Live Entertainment Germany/Switzerland/Austria where he took over the responsibility for all Sony Music shareholder activities in MTS GmbH, Bucardo Kunst- und Kulturproduktionen GmbH, Manfred Hertlein Veranstaltungs GmbH and Get A Gig GmbH (Gigmit). Furthermore he was responsible for the execution of live tours like Die drei ??? „Phonophobia“ 2014/2015 & „Die drei ??? und der dunkle Taipan“ 2019/2020, J.P. Krämer „P.S. – Ich liebe euch“ 2016/2017 and the TKKG Live Tour 2019 and carried out artist bookings for corporate events for clients like Allianz, AUDI, Infineon, FC Bayern and Phoenix Contact in GSA and abroad.

On top he was in charge for all artist, label and tour merchandising activites. From 2015 on he additionally worked in the Brands/Live/Licensing department as a key account for and with brands like eg. Audi, Heineken, Playmobil, Sony Playstation und Volkswagen und developed creative artist brand partnerships like between e.g. Kelvyn Colt x Lufthansa, Zara Larsson x Volkswagen, Tom Grennan x AUDI und Anastacia x FC Bayern. He also realized various music licensing projects for movies and brands. Daniel Kamps was also part of the Sony Music GSA Innovation Board where he was responsible for all external partnerships.

Since March 2021 he is the lecturer for “Artist Marketing and New Business” in the “Music Management” study course at the University of Applied Management in Ismaning.
